The Java Cup Café is a fictional coffee business. The logo is an example of a simplistic representation of the imaginary company. Using the knowledge of typography and my illustrative skills, I combined the two skills to create the brand. As a result, the lettering is positioned to form a cup of coffee with steam rising. The design and composition were hand-drawn and then converted to vector. Gradations of brown were used for the color palette representing hot coffee. The size and placement are convenient when printed on items such as aprons, outdoor signs, coffee cups, and coffee mugs.
